Who We Are
The African Youth Empowerment Program (AYEP) is a transformative initiative by Kesmonds International University designed to address youth unemployment across Africa by equipping young people with practical, income-generating skills.
AYEP focuses on hands-on training through short, fully sponsored courses in areas such as agriculture, business, technology, and vocational skills. Our goal is to shift mindsets from job seeking to job creation empowering youth to build sustainable livelihoods and become drivers of economic growth in their communities.
Through innovation, accessibility, and real-world learning, AYEP is creating a new generation of skilled, confident, and self-reliant Africans.
Our Story
The African Youth Empowerment Program (AYEP) was established as a response to the growing challenge of youth unemployment and limited access to practical education across Africa.
Recognizing that many young people lack opportunities to acquire hands-on skills, Kesmonds International University launched AYEP as a fully funded initiative to bridge this gap. What began as a vision to empower a few communities has grown into a continent-wide movement focused on skills development, entrepreneurship, and economic independence.
Today, AYEP continues to expand its reach through partnerships, training centers, and innovative programs impacting thousands of youth and transforming lives across Africa.
